The recipient of a bachelor's degree in communications from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, Desiree Marvin has been working in various capacities at Marvin Windows & Doors since 2008. During the summer of 2008, she worked in technical publications and developed a digital history of photographic databases on behalf of the company. She also wrote articles for its company newsletter. The following year, Desiree Marvin began working as a purchasing assistant, and later held titles such as training and communications specialist and instructional designer. Since 2012, Desiree Marvin has served the company as a workspace researcher. Her responsibilities in this capacity involve developing work spaces that emphasize efficiency and inspire creativity. She does this by conducting research that is utilized for the development of programs and events at various Marvin locations. She has won multiple awards and accolades, including the American Business Ethics Award and Minnesota Family Business Award. She holds a private pilot license, and, in addition to aviation, enjoys hobbies such as hunting, fishing, diving, hiking, and cooking.
